Snow Emergency Explanation

  • Level 1 Snow Emergency: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are also icy; drive carefully. For Sundays...Pastor Rich will be preaching and volunteers are asked to use caution when heading to church.
  • Level 2 Snow Emergency: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who believe it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. For Sundays...Pastor Rich will be preaching and singing at church and the Children's Program is not likely. Other Sunday volunteers are expected to use their own judgement for serving at a Level 2 Emergency.
  • Level 3 Snow Emergency: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one else should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. Those traveling on the roadways may be subject to arrest. For Sundays...Pastor Rich will not be going to jail for being out on the roads.  Errbody should stay home...that's right...Errbody.  Make hot chocolate, snow angels, and watch a good movie.

Please use your best judgment when deciding to venture out into inclement weather. Questions? Feel free to contact the office # at 614-594-0333
